“CHASE: What Matters Most?”

“CHASE: What Matters Most?” Thursday, Dec 11 - Saturday, Dec 13 at 8PM Sunday, Dec 14 at 3PM at JACK We're having a work-in-progress showing for our upcoming 2015 show, “CHASE: What Matters Most?” at JACK.
It's a split bill with dancer, Greg Zucculo! Come see what's in the works...
Six low-level employees of an anonymous bank refuse to take the apocalypse seriously- each on their own metaphysical journey, they intersect during work hours to try and keep afloat of their clerical responsibilities, share their nightmares, and attempt (and fail) to behold the world's terrible face, unmasked. Utilizing our singular hybrid of dance, text, and interactive media, "Chase" will stage the struggle for survival in a degenerating world.

SHE COUNTS HER DRESSES

lead artist, Nikki Calonge
Thursday, Jan 29, 2015 - Saturday, Feb 7, 2015 at The Bushwick Starr

Inspired by the illustrations of Ethel Mars and Maud Hunt Squire, “She Counts Her Dresses&rdquo celebrates Gertrude Stein's depiction of this real-life couple through the compulsion to travel and dance. Miss Furr and Miss Skeene demand that the audience read with us, be gay with us, be regularly gay with us, be very regularly gay with us, just be gay with us, and to sing until we can be proud of tomorrow.
